Ghanaian comedian and actor Mr. Beautiful recently expressed his views on polygamy and said it is not a bad practice.
In an interview with Property FM in Cape Coast, the Kumawood actor said only men with financial difficulties would consider polygamy a waste of money.
“In this world, if you don’t have money and people talk about polygamy, you think it’s nonsense,” Mr. Beautiful said.
He continued, “When you’re broke or poor and they’re talking about people who have two or three wives, you get angry and say that’s stupid.”
He added, “Because you don’t have money, that’s why you get angry and you throw all kinds of insults, but if you have money, you realize how sweet it is to have multiple wives.”
